The Meaningful Shop is supporting the Malaria Operation - a process driven net distribution program in the small rural parish of Buyaya in Eastern Uganda.

A recent study concluded that for every 1000 children protected by mosquito nets, 5.5 lives would be saved each year.

The Malaria Operation takes a systematic approach to the problem of malaria in Eastern Uganda.

By joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to: Work in a rural Uganda village, organize community education meetings, teach Ugandans about malaria through our lesson plans, distribute nets, and arrange follow up visits to ensure the nets are being used correctly.
