Aivie is a RYE School english student currently at level 1.

Aivie lives in a tiny dark house on the road up to the Cawayan up a steep path. She is one  of 5 children, 4 girls and 1 boy, aged between 12 and 2 years old.

Aivie's mother looks after the children and the house and her father works in construction away from Cawayan. He works for 7 months away from home and then comes back for 2 weeks and then goes away again, to support his family.

They eat rice, fish and vegtables. Aivie's parents hope that Aivie will finish her education so that she can go on with her studies and train to be a teacher. They wish for this as it will give her a better lifestyle then they can give her.
