It seems that he knows some English but he just fools around in class so I am not sure where his English is at. One day, I gave them a spelling test telling and told them “write the vocabs in English “. Then he put “English” on his paper beside every word. He has done the same type of spelling test many times over before so I knew he was fooling around and it made me bit angry.
 

This class meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 11am.

Note: This is a special needs class.  They started out on English Land One ("My body, your head"), but this proved too difficult and have now been move onto a phonics course starting with triplets (cat, fed, hit...)
