Joshua is a RYE school english student currently at level 1.

Joshua is cousin of Maria and lives in the same clearing as her family. Joshua has 5 brothers and sisters. Their family house was destroyed by Typhon Frank in 2008, since then they have lived with their grandmother. They cannot afford to build or repair their old house, so will continue to live their as they have no other choice.  Here is their kitchen.

The oldest child of the family is 15 and the youngest is 2 years old, 2 girls and 4 boys. Joshua's Father fishes when he can, but that is weather dependent. Additionally the walk to and from the shore is long, taking about an hour each way.

Joshua's parents hope that Joshua will be able to finish his studies and they would be happy for him to find any sort of work.
