High School is technically free on the island of Tablas, but practically costs money in the form of school book, pencils, project fees, "compulsory donations", and transport  These costs add up and deny many children on the island the chance of secondary education.

By sponsorsing a child, you will allow them to attend high school for a year - including a small allowance for school snacks

Kenneth is studying at level 3 at the RYE English School in Cawayan.

Kenneth is the oldest of 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls. He is the brother of Mary Luz. His youngest sibling is 4 years old.

Kenneth's mother is a daycare worker and his father is a 'Single Driver', meaning that he drives people up and down the mountainon his motorcycle for a small fee. Because the family do not have crops of their own they have to buy their food. They mainly have rice and root crops.

Kenneth's parents hope that they can afford to fund all of their children through education, but with their small wages it will be a struggle.
