Malnutrition is one of the serious problems facing children on the island of Tablas.  Their diets primarily consist of rice, roots crops and fish.

By sponsoring a school lunch a child, you will have them join a host family who will cook them a nutritious meal everyday.

Kenneth is studying at level 3 at the RYE English School in Cawayan.

Kenneth is the oldest of 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls. He is the brother of Mary Luz. His youngest sibling is 4 years old.

Kenneth's mother is a daycare worker and his father is a 'Single Driver', meaning that he drives people up and down the mountainon his motorcycle for a small fee. Because the family do not have crops of their own they have to buy their food. They mainly have rice and root crops.

Kenneth's parents hope that they can afford to fund all of their children through education, but with their small wages it will be a struggle.
